HOW TO USE
- Put the Pivotal Therapy Pad on a flat surface. Lie down with the points facing towards the ceiling, and the half-moon portion of the bottom facing towards your body. The points on the top are to press against the beginning of your neck just below your skull, using pressure by the weight of your head.
- Start off with just 1-3 minutes on the first few days to acclimate to the pressure. If feelings of discomfort persist following therapy, do not increase the time and request further instruction.
- Increase time on the second day and then add movement of the head from side to side in an effort to find a pain-free position.
- The patient can choose to move in flexion/extension, side bending, or rotation in an attempt to find the pain-free position.
- Recommended to use 5-10 minutes once per day.
